1999 Chevy Cavalier Engine check light

When I start up the car the engine Engine Check light stays on after the other warning lights have gone out. Oils is full, coolant is ok, plenty of gas, engine seems to be running ok. Any ideas as to why this particular light is staying on?

IT is emission related. Get the codes from the computer and post them.

You may need to pick up a code reader at a parts store to do this.

I don't recommend waiting too long.
