My car would not start so I went to buy a battery, then the car started. I have it park, don't drive it at all. I wanted to started a few days later and it would not start. Took the battery and they had to recharge it. Try it againg and it would not start. I was wondering if it is the alternator? But would it still start since the battery is fully charge?

Its your alternator. I had the same problem with my 95 z28 about 2 weeks ago. I replaced it myself in about an hour. I had a brand new battery and kept drainin down and eventually wouldnt start I had to keep recharging it overnight until I could afford the alt.

It is possibe that your alternator is the problem, you need to check if any thing is on before you run out and buy one since it sets for days and you don't use it.
The easy way is to take the positive battery cable loose and buy a cheap test light. Hook the clamp end to the positive end of the cable and put the pointed end on the positive post of the battery. If the light lights up you have a draw. That means something is on using electricity which can run your battery down over night. When you check it make sure you have everything off and the doors shut. If it is on simple solution if the fuse box is under the hood with the test light still hooked up sart pulling the small fuses until the test light goes out. That will at least tell you which circuit is alive. If fuse panel is inside take one fuse out at a time and be sure to shut the door. Hope this helps
