Brakes

89 chevy beretta 6 cyl my son took off the brake shoes he drove the car because the brakes locked up so he drove it home with no brakes I had to replace the wheel cyl and the shoes I bleeded the brakes but I seem to have less paddle now than when we did that it had no fluid in it when he drove it home should I have bleed the master cly too or do I just need too bleed the brakes again I almost think I need a new master cyl dont know yet it mite be we didnt bleed them right what do you think thanks

If there is no brake fluid in the master cyl you will need to bleed the brake again. You will have to bleed them a lot!Also don't pump the brakes when you do this. Open bleeder press brake & hold. Close bleeder, then release brake. Pumping is not good. Say you have 1 big air pocit. You pump now you have a bunch of little pocits. Know you have to do double the work. It's easyer to get rid of 1 then get rid of hundreds. You will have to bleed alot because of the master cyl was dry.
