1996 Chevy Beretta brakes grab

After my car sits for awhile I go out and start it up and drive it if I gently step on the brake pedal the rear wheels lock up what could be causing this?

Hi there,

This can be caused by a contaminant on the brake lining, I would be inspecting the brake for a fluid leak and the general condition of the brake components, if in doubt see your mechanic.
