2004 Chevy Avalanche 4 wheel drive
Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2004 Chevy Avalanche V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 85,000 miles
Truck is showing a message of "service 4 wheel drive" . It would go into 2 wheel drive and was drivable. Now it is stuck in 4 wheel low.

Tranfer case position sensor and encoders have been an issue of failure on these models. Have the 4WD system scanned for codes. More than likely, a transfer case position sensor.
