After about 20 minutes, my van starts sputtering and shuts down, and afterwards will not crank. I have to keep holding the gas and brakes to stay cranked while stopping (like at stoplights). I usually have to get a boost in order for it to restart, and that is IF it will at all. Please help!

Hi, thanks for the donation. When the problem occurs, are you saying, it cranks good but won't start? How long since a tune-up? Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Around here, some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage, if you don't have one. If you have the spider fuel system, fuel pressure can be critical. Also, the fuel poppets may need cleaning?

An idle problem, could be idle air issue? Taking the throttle-body off and cleaning, might help. Any trouble codes?

I will check all of these, but from what I was told, it may be a problem with the spider injector system, but how can I be sure without spending a lot of money replacing that for nothing?

Some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure, you can call and ask.
