I had to replace the engine of my car because the other one got overheated and the heads did not work. Mechanic said old engine had not fix. Got a new engine from a 2006 car. The car will not start. Mechanic says the code in machine say something about the computer being locked.

Hello again.

The 335 code possibilities are below

P0335
Descriptor
Probable Causes
Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor
Signal Plate (Flywheel)

345

P0345
Descriptor
Probable Causes
Battery Voltage Low
Camshaft (Intake)
Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor
Starter Motor
Starting System Circuit

I am very concerned with this. Both codes being set tells me there may be a timing chain issue. Did he check the compression?

Does he have voltage to the cam and crank sensors?

These codes have no connection to the coils.

What do you think it can be? I need help ASAP. I already spent a lot of money on the car. He thinks it is something with the computer, because he says there is no signal sent to the spark plugs from the computer. He said he checked compression, time belt, and everything. He said he does have current on the coils. He also found this:

You really need to get this car to someone who can diagnose the issue. It sounds like they don't know what they are doing.

The wiring needs to be checked. All the signals need to be checked and powers and grounds.
