Jumper cables fell off while jump starting car and now Car wont start

I was jump starting my father's car jump leads fell off sparked my engine and now my car wont start. I had a mechanic out diagnosed inline fuse changed it and new battery still wont start got all lights working and central looking just wont start.

Hey Jason,

It sounds like you had a major electrical short circuit which can cause the main computer to go out. but we should run some tests which will help determine what's going on.

First recheck the fuses

then run the computer for codes
