I have noticed that when I am stopped at an intersection and am stepping on the brakes to keep the car from rolling forward, the car shudders slightly. Even when I release the brakes, the shudder continues just a bit before the car accelerates up to normal speed. When the car is moving forward no shudder is experienced.

Does it feel like the engine is misfiring? can you please upload a short video of the problem so I can see? I want to get started on the right foot on not go down the wrong trail so I will need more information. Also, do you have a check engine light on?

Here are two guides I need you to go over so we can continue:

and

Please go over these guides and get back to us.

No engine check light is illuminated but it does appear that an almost imperceptible hesitation occurs at random times as I accelerate. I did have the spark plugs replaced as this is a used car I purchased only a month or so ago. I also had the transmission fluid and brake fluid and power steering fluid replaced at the same time since I had no indication of the maintenance history of the vehicle.

Aha. Turns out it was failing motor mounts. Once those were replaced the shudder disappeared. Thanks for your help.

Ok, the shudder went away once the motor mounts were replaced. However the 2nd problem remains where when the wheel is turned all the way in one direction or the other the car begins to spin in that direction as if it had a life of its own, like it were caught in a whirlpool. This happens in reverse as well.

Can you suggest any reason why the car spins severely when the car is going at very low speed like in a parking lot and the wheel is turned all the way to either the left or the right. This happens when going in reverse as well.
