I was driving to the store to get some groceries earlier today and as I was heading to the store, my car cuts out as if the battery died. It idled for a sec at around 3500 rpm but then dies as soon as I tapped the accelerator. I pull over to check and though I needed a jump but that wasn't it cause the car won't engage. My friend tells me I may need new sparks seeing as how the sparks were spaced apart, or that I need new injectors. The pump for the gas was working but the sound was from the starter. I'd turn the key to ignite but nothing happened. So my other friend tells me it's my starter. I use the car on a daily basis to go to work and shopping but this is the only car I have. Can anyone help?

Check battery for condition including load test most places do for free. Then have a friend try to start car an d you hit body of starter with a hammer if it trys to turn over the starter is bad.
