2003 Cadillac Escalade Change battery now check engine ligh

2003 Cadillac Escalade V8 90,000 miles
Left my keys in ignition (engine not totally engaged, just enough for radio to work) Forgot to remove them, they were in the car for almost 12 hours. Killed battery, bought a new one, replaced it. Now check engine light is on? What is the deal?

Hello,
Go by your local parts store and have them pull codes. Write them down and post here. Most likely has something to do with battery being disconnected.
