1997 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i was wondering whats causing my car to just shut off when ive been driving it for a while, like I go from here to the store thats like 10 min away and ion my way back home its starts to just die.

Does it die like flipping a switch or gradually slow down and die? Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage. They also used to check trouble codes for free.
