My engine quit today as I was allowing the car to slow down to make a right turn. The road was smooth as was my turning. The trip mileage reset as did the clock, the radio, and the A/C setting. I put the car in Neutral, restarted it, instantly, and drove home uneventfully.
At home I checked the battery terminals and all were tight.
I drove the car 12 miles to the Buick garage, uneventfully. They spent about an hour checking, but found nothing wrong.
My trip home was uneventful.
Any ideas?

hello
Sounds like a connection somewhere was lost if the battery end is not the problem check the other ends of the cables where they connect to the starter and power juction block, also make sure your grounds are all good. If the car has a Delco battery still in it take the terminals off and see if the battery is leaking from the posts, Delco batteries have a problem with this and sometimes the terminal will break off inside the battery causing an intermitant problem.
