My brakes make a rubbing noise when I push them, mostly coming to a slow stop

This is the brake pedal, not the wheels. I have replaced the master cylinder. Took it to Dodge Service Department, they said needed a front ABS sensor, replaced it. Then they said my rotors and pads were bad, replaced them, then they put it back on code reader, said same front wheel sensor was bad, replaced it, still making the noise, they read it again and said that sensor was bad. They are ordering another one (this one for free). I can’t believe 4 sensors are bad. I can’t keep spending money and the problem is still there. Hope someone has an idea what it is.

Just so I am clear they are checking codes and finding that the wheel speed sensor code is the issue? If this is the case, they need to inspect the tone wheel for cracking. Two things to do this. Remove the sensor and use a borescope if needed then spin the wheel and look at the teeth of the tone wheel. If this is cracked then it will activate the ABS which is what it sounds like the rubbing is on the pedal. This is actually the ABS pulsing the brakes rapidly.

Then they need to drive the vehicle and use the scan tool to watch the wheel speed sensors on a graph. I suspect they will see this wheel speed sensor act erratically. If so, that is more indication of a mechanical issue.

Let me know if I am not understanding the issue properly. Thanks

Thank you very much, when I take it back I will definitely tell them this. They did drive it with something hooked up to it.
