1993 Acura Integra
Noises problem
1993 Acura Integra 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
When my car is on and all seatbelts r on and doors are closed my car has a consit beeping as I drive. If only the passanger door is open it will stop.
I also put a new dome light bulb in and the light still doesn't go on.
Check engine light is on too.
The car drives good other than that. Brand new battery connectors too

Hi sparkmenoz,
Dome light does not operate in ON or door opened position or both?
Did you check the fuses?
When the Check Engine Lamp is showing, an error has been detected by the engine management system and you need to retrieve the Diagnostic Trouble Code to proceed with rectification.
Bridge the SCS connector and turn ignition switch ON. Count the flashes on the CEL, note the pauses and length of flashes.
Long blinks = 10
Short blink = 1.

the dome doesnt go on at all. i checked the fuses ill check again. i see the 2 plugs under the passanger side how do i check that

Hi,
Use a paper clip as jumper and bridge the 2 terminal connector, ( DO NOT USE the 3 terminal ) and turn ignition switch ON.
See sample picture.
You need a test lamp to test for power supply to dome lamp. It the ground is bad , the dome lamp would not work as well.
