Will not stay running

I already changed fuel filter. Seem to help. Put code reader on it no codes. Why will it not stay running? I can shut it off for around five minutes and it will not shut off for a minute.

Hello, I am Danny.

It could be a weak/failing fuel pump. I would suggest pressure testing the fuel pump. If you do not have access to a pressure tester your local auto parts stores have a tool loaner program and will rent you one. Your fuel pressure should be 47 P.S.I. at Idle. I have attached a tutorial showing how to test. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
