A/C is working, blower is also working but the air is not cold even if taken at 16°C.

What could be the problem?

I am scared that it would be a major and costly issue.
Please help.

Good morning,

The first thing I would do is check the high and low side pressures. I need to see those pressures to be sure the A/C system is working correctly.

It could also be a blend door actuator but needs to be confirmed. I would check the Freon system first.

Temperature Blend Door Actuator

1. Remove the instrument panel. For additional information, (SEE Instrument Cluster / Carrier and/or Interior Molding /Trim).

2. Disconnect the temperature blend door actuator electrical connector.

3. Remove the 2 temperature blend door actuator screws.

4. Remove the temperature blend door actuator.

5. Note: When installing the temperature blend door actuator, be sure that the actuator gear, and the blend door gear are aligned so that the center (keyed) portion of each gear mates with the center (keyed) portion of the opposite gear as the gears are rotated.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Along with the A/C problem my Left front door latch is not working due which I am unable to close the door.

Can you estimate how much the A/C repair would cost excluding the labor cost?

I would be happy to once the failure is identified. Right now, the diagnostics has to be done. Once the failure is identified, I can give you that information.

As far as the door latch, you need to start a new question. We can only deal with one subject at a time per car. I will be happy to help with the latch.

Okay, I will be happy to as soon as you tell me the failure. I told you what needs to be checked.

If it is the blend door I would estimate it at about $140.00 to $160.00 parts and labor.

If it is the Freon system, the evacuate and charge the system would be from $150.00 to $200.00.

As I stated in my last response, it would be $150.00 to $200.00.

If it is empty, then you have a leak and that must be determined and repaired.
