AC compressor replacement instructions please?

My truck is aging. Recently, I was driving my truck locally and a loud rushing noise could be heard, at first I thought I had run over branch, not the case. The truck was still running and the gauges did not indicate a problem while I was driving. Traffic was heavy for a small downtown area, since operationally everything was working I continued on home. After driving for another minute, maybe less, I believe the most likely cause is the A/C compressor. What will I need to replace the compressor?

Here is the information you requested. After removing and replacing the ac compressor you will need to vacuum the system and recharge as well. Here are tutorials showing how to replace the compressor and vacuum-recharge the system:
