If the front passenger door of your 2013 Ford Focus is not locking using both the key fob and the center door lock switch, there could be a problem with the door lock actuator. The door lock actuator is responsible for physically moving the lock mechanism to engage or disengage the door lock.

To determine the exact part you need, it is recommended to have a professional mechanic or a Ford dealership inspect the door lock system. They will be able to diagnose the issue and identify the specific component that needs to be replaced.

It's worth noting that the door lock actuator is a common part that may need replacement over time due to wear and tear. However, other issues such as wiring problems or control module malfunctions could also cause the door lock failure. Therefore, it is best to have a proper diagnosis before purchasing any parts.

Used the key hole in door frame. Was stuck. Now it goes left to 8 o'clock and to 4 o 'clock. Stiffly. Fob will unlock, but not lock. No solenoid "click". Ford Parts says no RH "actuator" for RH exists. Now what?

If you are experiencing difficulty with the keyhole in the door frame and the key is not turning smoothly, it suggests a potential problem with the door lock cylinder itself. The door lock cylinder is the component that the key directly interacts with to lock or unlock the door manually.

In this case, if the key is stiff and not turning freely in both directions, it is likely that the door lock cylinder needs to be replaced. The stiffness and limited movement of the key could indicate internal damage or wear within the cylinder.

Regarding the lack of a right-hand (RH) actuator for your specific model, it's possible that Ford Parts might not use that specific term for the part. Instead, they may refer to it by a different name or as part of a larger assembly. It's recommended to consult with a Ford dealership or a reliable automotive parts supplier who can assist you in locating the correct replacement part.

In summary, it appears that you may need to replace the door lock cylinder to address the issues you are experiencing with the key and the lack of response from the key fob. For accurate guidance on the part and any specific instructions, it is best to consult with a Ford dealership or a qualified automotive technician who can provide you with the correct information for your 2013 Ford Focus.
