Taillights and rear window light not working properly

The light on the rear window and the taillights will not go off when it is bad weather. Sometimes, they come on when the car is not in use. Car stopped when I pulled over to take a call. Acted as though the battery was dead but started up a few minutes later. Had the battery checked out 3 times with positive results. Car smells when lights are stuck on.

More then likely you have a ground issue. I attached the wiring diagram of all the ground information so we need to go through the lighting and PCM grounds and make sure they are tight and clean.

Next we need to check the battery cables to make sure they are clean and tight as well. Here is a guide that will help with this:
