windshield wipers

On the rear of my van the back windshield wiper it goes way past it normal stopping point, why is that and how could i fix it.

It may have come loose. Remove the arm, turn the wiper on and then off. Reinstall the arm where it should be in the park position. NOTE: Make sure none of the splins are stripped on the wiper arm or the post it mounts on.
