2007 Nissan Sentra Repair Question

Nissan Sentra Rpm Problem
What would cause my automatic transmission to be slow it shift and makes the engine rpms go to 4 to 5000 rpms. The only way it shifts is if i let off the gas and no codes are popping up?

Sounds like its slipping bad-Check fluid condition and level if okay-bring it in and have it further checked out by a tranny specialist-
