Mercury Mountaineer Fuse Problem
My lift gate glass keeps opning on its own. When I get in the vehicle, and start it, the lift gate glass will open. Last night I was putting gas in the car and the whole time I was pumping gas the latch kept popping over and over. Could it be a short? maybe a problem with the keyless remote?

I am having the same issue with mine. I eliminated the remote by removing the battery. The only way I could stop it was by removing the fuse in slot 6 in the fusebox.
