Does have an intank or external fuel filter?
My check engine light came on, so i took to my mech, he said possibly vaccum leak or fuel restriction like fuel filter...not sure if this mod has in tank filter or an external?

What exactly is the code/s that popped-up? Sound like the mechanic is guessing

a 2006 vibe has a In Tank Integral filter w/ fuel pump. but like the other 2 guys said you would need to know exact code to narrow it down. any autozone or advanced auto will read your code for free if you dont want to pay your mechanic to read it..by the sounds of it i would not take it to him anyway.
