I have a 99 5.7 and am going through a similar thing. The engine shuts off when I am coming to stop and will stumble for a minute or two then fire right back up. I have replaced the fuel filter/pump. Found some sparks off the plug wires and solved that, new ECM, relay. I would love to know if anyone has solved it. Also, I have checked the crank sensor.

Hi,

I need a little more info. The thread is specific to an Isuzu NPR which would have had a 4.8L turbo diesel in 1999. What model vehicle do you have?
