Hyundai Tucson

I have a 2006 Hyundai Tucson and when I accelrate over 50 mph on the highway the car makes a loud whining sound which only stops when you put your foot on the brake pedal. It sounds like it is coming from the brakes.

Does it only happen on first acceleration after starting and no noise after braking untill engine off and restart?

After I accelerate to about 50 mph, it starts after a few minutes at that speed. When I touch the brake it stops but starts again. It goes on for about 15 minutes and then all of a sudden it will stop (sometimes it never stops). Once I get off the highway and resume normal speed, it never happens. It does the "highway" whistle every time.

Maybe check valve in vacuum line to intake manifold. If spring is faulty may cause whisteling sound see diagram
