We own a Citroen Xzara Picasso, and since March this year we have had to have 3 fan belts replaced. Prior to the belts going we get a high pitched whining noise. The same garage has changed the belts 3 times. Can you give me a diagnosis on the problem
We own a 2005 Citroen Xzara Picasso, and have done for about four years now. Up until March 2011 we never experienced problems with the Fan belt, but as the question states we have had 3 replaced since March 2011, and are looking at having a fourth in the next day or so

Don't have any references on this vehicle-check the pulley if its out of alignment, wobbly and adjustment of the belt tensioner

look at the belt and see where u see damage to the belt the front or the rear or on the face of the belt.ck. it before you take in for wear marks and where thay are at.have another shop ck for whats rubbing the belt.
