2004 Toyota Corolla Repair Question
Asked on May 29, 2012
Are the drive shafts on the corolla verso 2004 1.6 petrol the same as the avensis 1.6 petrol
I have put a gearbox from a 1.6 avensis into a corolla verso,
every thing is the same except for the size of the bearings in the diff they are slightly smaller so the shafts will not go into the gearbox,
i want to know if i get the shafts for the avensis will i be able to change the inner cv joints or will the shafts fit.thanks

that's an unusual situation you have you may just have to experiment and find out for yourself. good luck with it.

Before doing it, measure the diameter of both shafts, if they are similar, you have a good chance of success.
