I have a toyota corolla. Year 1989. I need to know the name of the part that turns the wheel in the transmission and it is connected to the cv joint.

You have tranny cv axel bearing hub then brake rotor and tire

Most times it is cheaper and easier to replace the half shaft.

Most parts stores have this or even check the junk yards for a cheaper fix.

Buy a Chilton Book and read it.
