When starting from a dead stop I get a bang when starting off slow. However if I get the rpm up a little bit it shifts smoothly. The bang is so severe that you can feel it when your feet are on the floor.

What would be causing this?

Fluid was changed a few months ago and it was clear. No codes come up at all.

It only shifts rough in 1st gear. All other gears appear fine.

Just a hard bang sometimes

I only get the bang when starting from a dead stop into 1st gear.

And I only get it if the engine is at a low rev. A slightly high rev will prevent it.

Only in first. No other time.

Also there is no leak and the transmission fluid is clear.

I would say at least 100 and they will be looking for abnormal pressure readings they will use a scan tool and pressure gauge. Tell them the symptoms and they can test drive the vechile.
