When you start it, it shuts off? What could be causing this? When running on the diagnostic machine, it has no codes reading!

Hello,

Just to clarify, the engine will start but then it will stall right?

This issue could be due to inadequate fuel to the engine to keep it running or a faulty idle air control valve.

If there is a restriction in the fuel line or a dirty fuel filter can starve the engine from fuel. It can also be due to a faulty fuel pressure regulator.
You can test the fuel pressure to see if the issue is fuel related.
This vehicle should have 50-65 PSI of fuel pressure.

Here is a helpful guide:

The idle air control valve is located on the throttle body. It controls the air flow when the engine is idling. Over time dirt and derbies can build up inside the valve and create excessive restriction. Which will impact the engine idling. It can also stall the engine after startup. Many times, it is possible to keep the engine running by adding throttle. So, if you can keep the engine running with pressure on the throttle then the IAC likely the issue.
The IAC can be cleaned to restore functionality.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
