Loss of power

I have a chevy trailblazer with 129,000 miles. I just put in a new alternator and now when I turn on the air conditioning I loose rpm's and it will die when I am at a stoplight or in idle. When the AC is off I don't have a problem. What could be the problem?

Was the battery disconnected? If so clean the throttle body bore and the throttle valve plate using a toothbrush and approved throttle body cleaner then retry. This should fix your problem.
