2002 Saturn SC2 Repair Question

When I apply my brakes on my Saturn SC2 when going over bumps, I get a strange boinging sound. Brakes or traction problem?
I do have new brake pads.

Brenda, it sounds like it is coming from the brakes, but I can't be sure. Check to make sure everything is tight, make sure the backing plates behind the rotors are not hitting anything, and check suspension components such as the coil springs.

Just to add to this one is the noise coming from the front or back?The noise you mentioned are saying its like a spring noise?Was the noise there before you replaced the brakes?

The sound is coming from the front end and it was the same before I replaced the pads. Could it be the rotors?

What does noise sound like i cant hear it so it makes hard on my end to figure it out.The more description the better.
