Pontiac Grand Prix Coolant Problem
When heat is on it will go cold and temp gauge starts to rise and almost over heat and then drops again and heat is hot and then same thing again. Can you please help with an answer why or what is causing this. Thank you for your time.

It could be a couple things. First make sure the coolant is full. If it is, then check the thermostat.
