Barely any acceleration
2002 Hyundai Sonata 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 98,000 miles. About a month ago my car was shaking and there was barely any acceleration when I would hit the gas until I started going then it was fine, but it was still shaking. My mechanic said "it was the Engine coils", I had both replaced. Now, the engine light is back on and once again barely any acceleration but this time its not shaking. It seems to start okay, but once I get to a certain speed its fine until I stop. Please help Ive spent enough money on this problem to have it happen again. Thank you so much.

The check engine light will come on every time the computer detects a problem and will set a code indicating the troubled area. You need to have the system scanned for codes.
