Got power but won't come on- You sure the compressor is not locked-up-Check the AC relay and low pressure switch

Just to add to this one the a/c compressor clutch gets ground thru the compressor housing and power trigger thru that wire to the compressor clutch so if your getting power to the clutch bad clutch.I have seen a few a/c clutches do that on that model car. If the compressor was frozen up and the clutch kicked in the engine usually stalls or the clutch makes a lot of noise until the clutch burn's out.
