2001 Ponitac Montana - Heater will not work. Replaced Thermostat and mechanic thinks it is a servo under the dash. Where can I get a diagram of this servo assembly?

The only thing I can think of that he is refering to is the blend air door. It is part of the HVAC system that determines if you get AC or Heat. I have to ask, before you start ripping into this, if the engine is hot, the heater is on, and the engine is running, do both heater core hoses get hot? Also, is the engine running at a normal operating temp?
