Where is the thermastat located at and how do you change it?

You have a 3400 motor. You'll find the "well placed" thermostat on the driver's side of the motor. IT rests on the other side of the exhaust pipe. About 2.2 hours for a tech to replace it becasue of the ridiculous placement of it.
