2001 Mercury Sable wont start

After doing a head gasket repair, car still will not start CouldIt will turn over, but will not crank. Sparkplugs good and battery. Everything checks out to be good. Could
it bei because the? Car is sitting on a hill? But fuel is pumping thru

Make sure you've got everything plugged back in. If you've got fuel then next you need to make sure you've got spark. Is the distributor plugged in? Check all the fuses as well. One is for the ECM

Did the car start before the head gasket repair?
Make sure the cam sensor on front of engine is plugged in. Make sure all fuse a good. If your car has a tach in the dash when cranking see if it moves.

The pcm must see a crank signal to fire plugs and injectors

Can u hear the fuel pump cutting in this can be heard easy by removing gas cap and lisening while some crank engine or turns igntion on for a few secounds.
