Location of fuel regulator
Where is fuel regulator located on 2000 mercury mountaineer? Is it on the fuel pump in the fuel tank, or somewhere under the hood?

I don't know litre size of engine? I looked at 5.0L, mechanical returnless system. The pressure regulator is part of fuel pump assembly. The online partsbook doesn't even show a fuel pressure regulator.
