I recently installed another transmission and changed upper and lower ball joints and outer tie-rods in my 2000 acura integra. As I reverse and turn the wheel it feels as though the passenger side wheel shifts out of place, with a slight clunking noise. And as I proceed to move forward and bring the wheels straight it feels as tho the wheel has an extreme amount of positive camber. I have put it on the lift an noticed the upper ball joint A-arm assembly pivot joint bolts were loose, I tightened those an I still have the same problem but I dont see anything. I also have a tie-rod boot that isnt covering all its supposed to cover if that has anything to do with it?

Excessive camber indicates the upper arm is bad. The bushes could be worn which you interpreted as loose.

Tie-rod boot would not affect the camber but if the tie-rod is bad, it can result in weird turning feelings.
