I know what is my car problem : my accelerator cable is broken, I can see it. I just wish I could repair it by myself and I thought you could help me with it. I've got a 1999 Toyota Corolla CE. Thanks.

Undo the outer cable adjuster bolt on the manifold, remove end from throttle lever, under dash un clip from throttle pedal and look at cable through fire wall and undo cable there should be a bolt fitting, cable should then pull through, it may have a location clip as well, just withdraw cable carefully and look for any other clips, but there will be no further bolts, when adjusting, fit up and loosen manifold adjust bolt, pull cable until no slack but no pressure on throttle, lock up bolt.
