I started out replacing my wheel bearing. I got them out on Saturday only to find that no one could press the bearings in until Monday. So now it's Monday and I have the bearings and hub assembly all pressed together. I start to reinstall them when I realize that the struts have extended down and I can not get the hub assembly back on to the ball joint (Which needs to be replaced as well, but I need to get it back on to the hub to remove it. I belive. Can I get it off and put it on with the hub?). So I'm stuck. Any help would be much appreciated.

We don'thave 99 in our manual but this is off a 201 it says strut has to be disconnected but I think your problem is the stabilizer bar isn't disconnected causing your problem so try that on both sides. Or its 'the ball joint bolt so if stabilizer doesn''t work try that. If you remove strut it will need front end alignment.
