When i start car it revs loudly without my foot on accelerator what can it be
I have checked the accelerator cable and it seems fine, not stretched. The car was just normal yesterday when i used it. The battery does need charging and it took a few turns of key to start but then when it did it revved loudly and when i put it in gear it moved on its own without me using accelerator pedal

Check if the throttle plate is fully closing and also clean the idle air controller and test the throttle position sensor
