My truck is a 2.2 and It use to be an automatic and the previous owner changed it to a standard and my girlfriend put it in D (drive) on the auto column and now it wont start. It clicks under the dash and Wont get any connection to start. What do I do? I think the previous owner never did it right though. But it never had a problem before

You may still have a clutch switch that the starter circuit goes through. It may be a purple wire. Check to see if power is going to it and through it. If it doesn't go through then that may be your reason to not start.
