1999 GMC Sonoma Truck Won't Start

Need some help !
At this time my truck will not crank. Nothing happens when trying to crank it. I tried tapping starter and as I was tapping it sparked and that's when I got nothing. Before tapping starter it would at least try to turn over. Any ideas? Thinking electrical is fried

If the engine spins over freely by hand and the battery cables are clean and tight the battery tests good? Also your getting full battery voltage at the big battery cable at the starter? Also the purple wire to the starter has battery voltage with the key in the start position? Then bad starter.
