Only when the car is in gear and driving down the road it sounds like there is air blowing from the car onto the road. I find no hoses or holes in lines under the car. So no idea where the noise is coming from plus when you push the gas hard like you are trying to blow it out the car tries to die. It's a 98 pontiac grand prix any help would be great. Thanks.

Check your fuel pressu re to see if it is high enough to stop the idieing aprt it should be about 55p.S.I. The sound you hear might be a partially plugged exaust so have that checked. Your vacuum at idle will be low if it's an exaust problem.
