1998 Honda Civic Car overheating

Replace everything except water pump. What could be the problem. I did everything new radiator new coolant I literally did everything Ive tried to loook up the answers and it's not clear. It's a 98 civic it overheats when started

Conduct a coolant pressure test you may have a leak some place , check around the block,head gasket, water pump,and all coolant hoses. If no leak found with pressur test. Check your thermostat has it ever been changed?

It is possible you may have an air pocket.
