So ive replaced the radiator cap, thermostat, and the water pump and the car still overheats. The problem is it overheats every now and then its not constant. All I gotta do is add more coolant every time it does that. And when it overheats when im on idle as soon as I start driving the temperature gauge goes down. Any ideas why the coolant spills out and it overheats every now and then. I suspect its a clogged radiator but I did a flush on it. Another thing with the car on and radiator cap off are you suppose to see the coolant flow or just sit there.

Sounds like the radiator fan isnt working correctly if it cools down once you start driving.
