Changed the injectors, plugs and intake gasket and now car will not idle. It will start if I give it gas but if I stop feathering the pedal it shuts off. It drives great when it is over 2,500 RPMs. Getting codes p0141 and p0135. Did not have them before.

I suspect you have a vacuum leak. Basically there is unmetered air coming into the engine and when you rev the engine, the ECM dumps more fuel and it is evens out.

However, it idle there is very little fuel and too much air so the engine just cuts off. Here is a guide that will help with this:

These codes most likely do not have anything to do with this issue but I attached the info and testing on these below for your review.

Please run through the vacuum leak test and if you don't find any leaks then unplug the MAP and see if the engine will idle. I attached the info on this as well.

However, I fully expect to find a leak because this is very common after doing intake gaskets.

Thanks

I'm embarrased to say this but I found the problem. I forgot the two bolts on the back of the intake manifold so the upper intake manifold gasket was not sealed right. That was most of the problem. The o2 sensors were bad but they were not the primary problem. Thank you so much for the help! I hope that my mistake will helps others.

Haha. Don't be embarrassed. The fact is, you found it.

I can tell you many things that I have done that deserve embarrassment. Namely, not torqueing my lug nuts properly because I was sure they were tight enough. Then wondering what that grinding noise was when I was turning. Needless to say, I found out when I came to a stop at an intersection and my front right tire did not stop with me and came to rest in front of a church across the street.

Making that walk across the intersection rolling my wheel and tire back was embarrassment. :)

I am glad you found it and yes, that will definitely help others in the future.

Thanks for using 2CarPros.
